Altenrhein Airport is located on the shore of beautiful Lake Constance in the foothills of the Swiss Alps. There are daily service via Austrian Airlines to Vienna as well as many business jets and red cross flights.
Each year the airport see a marked increase in air traffic due to the World Economic forum in nearby Davos. In addition to the many business jets that show up for the event, many helicopters are utilized to take the various dignitaries to the forum.
The airport's travel agency and inboard tour company is located at the airport where they have regular charters to Italy and Geneva for the annual auto show.
