Built as a CV-440-0 by General Dynamics and sent to Canadar for conversion into CL-66C with Napier Eland engines. Served with the RCAF until sold to North Central Airlines as N969N and modified to a Convair 580 with the installation of Allison 501 engines. Served until Northwest Airlines sold it to Air Resorts. Air Resorts sold the aircraft to Cool Air (Air Tahoma predecessor) in the mid 1990s and it was operated by Cool Air for Renown Aviation until creation of Air Tahoma in 1996.
