Thomas Cook Airlines

The company's take-over of the British travel group Thomas Cook Holdings Ltd., London, - the country’s third-largest leisure business – in April 2001 enabled it to gain access to the UK, Europe's second-biggest travel market.


The tour operator brands JMC, Thomas Cook Holidays, Style Holidays, Neilson, Club 18-30, Time Off and Sunworld Ireland are all part of Thomas Cook UK. JMC - the third-largest British tour operator - serves all customer segments with a wide range of products.

The premium brand Thomas Cook Holidays offers its customers a comprehensive range of products from which they can build their own holiday package.  Style Holidays, also a premium segment brand, is the group's specialist for hotels, apartments and villas in exclusive locations.  Neilson is the Thomas Cook expert for activity holidays particularly skiing, water sports and cycle tours.  The UK's leading youth brand Club 18-30 offers lifestyle holidays in the mid-price category. Time Off specialises in city tours and short breaks in Europe and North America, while Sunworld Ireland, as the name implies, focuses on Ireland-based vacations.


In the overseas markets Canada, India and Egypt, Thomas Cook also has a strong sales organisation encompassing more than 300 travel agencies.


The Thomas Cook A.G. / CIB / Callsign: Condor was founded on 1st November 1997 from NUR Touristic GmbH(50%)and Condor Flugdienst GmbH (50%).
